Wood, Smoke, Earth and Fire @ Dindima
Soak up the atmosphere of this year’s Fire Festival by joining us for a heartwarming, collaborative afternoon that brings together the Dindima Wines’ team and local ceramicist, Jude Keogh.
We’re offering a rustic, light lunch, featuring succulent smoked meats prepared in a hot smoker by Dindima’s winemaker. These will be served around warming fire pits, in artisan rolls with savoury accompaniments and a glass of your favourite Dindima drop. A vegetarian option of Smokey Vegetable Soup will be available.
Following lunch, Jude will introduce you to her creative world of earth and fire.
You’ll view an exhibition of her superb stoneware, fire pit glazed works of art and she’ll feed your wonder and curiosity with a presentation highlighting her ceramic process, including a demonstration of throwing a pot on her wheel.
This is an afternoon for all ages, culminating in conversation, mulled and un-spiced wine, hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows around the fire pits.
Jude Keogh’s ceramics will be available for purchase from the Cellar Door over the weekend 3 – 4 August, as will Dindima’s premium wines.
Day and Time of Arrival
This is essentially a one-day event beginning at 12.00pm and running until 3.30pm on Saturday 3 August, 2024.
Jude Keogh’s ceramics will however be available for viewing and purchase on Saturday during the Wood, Smoke, Earth and Fire Event and on Sunday 4 August, at Dindima.
Please ensure that you arrive at Dindima promptly at noon on Saturday so all ticket holders can take full advantage of the experiences on offer within the ticketed time. Tickets are valid for the ticketed time only.
Group ticket purchases are welcomed, but please note that ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of 10 persons per group.
Dindima wines will be available for purchase on the day. Other/externally purchased alcohol is not permitted to be brought onto the site.
Please note: Should the weather be inclement the event will be held in the winery.
